William Van Meter

William Van Meter joined the Reno Wind Symphony in 2008. Bill started playing trumpet in middle school and continued in high school under the direction of Felton Hickman. He studied music at the University of Nevada, Reno and graduated with a B.S. in accounting.

Following his graduation from Willamette University College of Law in 1986, Bill practiced law in Reno until his appointment to serve as the Reno Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee.

Bill has also performed with Reno Municipal Band, Reno Pops Orchestra, Toccata Orchestra, Hickman Brass, and Ruby Mountain Symphony.
