Mark Cate

Mark joined the Reno Wind Symphony in 2018, shortly after moving from Northern California. He began playing the trumpet at 11 years old, and in high school groups included the concert band, jazz band, orchestra, and musicals.

Prior to coming to Reno Mark played with the Brentwood Community Band, Brentwood Burnished Brass, Summerset Big Band, and Broadway Under The Stars community theater.
