Joi Cerveri

Joi Cerveri has been a member of the Reno Wind Symphony since 2016. She is a lifelong resident of Reno and started playing trumpet at age 12. She attended Vaughn Middle School and Wooster High School where she played in the jazz bands, concert bands, and orchestras. She also participated in Honor Band and the Lake Tahoe Music Camp.

​She studied music at the University of Nevada, Reno. Today she is active in a number of local bands such as the Mile High Jazz Band, Boca Brass Quintet, Let’s Dance Band, TMCC Jazz Band, Tahoe Dance Band, Reno Municipal Band, and Our Lady of the Snows Church Band. Joi also teaches music lessons for trumpet and saxophone.
