Veteran’s Day Salute

Please join us for this virtual concert that is a special tribute to the veterans of our armed forces. Selections on the program are Flourish for Wind Band by English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams, An American Fanfare by composer Rick Kirby, highlights from the Broadway musical The Music Man by Meredith Willson, and two marches by the March King, John Philip Sousa — The Thunderer and The Stars and Stripes Forever. 

This presentation uses an online platform that allows our musicians to perform in different locations as if they were in the same room. For their recordings, they were provided with a video of our conductors performing as they would in a normal concert setting, with the aid of a click track or tempo setting device in their ears.
