Veteran’s Day Salute

Please join us as we pay special tribute to the veterans of our armed forces through wind band music. Radio personality Ross Mitchell will serve as emcee for the concert. Our featured guests for this concert will be the Nevada Gay Men’s Chorus. Featured selections on the program include Gioacchino Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Claude T. Smith’s God of Our Fathers, Julia Ward Howe’s Battle Hymn of the Republic and several marches by the “March King”, John Philip Sousa.

Free parking is available in the Brian J. Whalen parking structure north of the fine arts building. Nightingale Concert Hall is located in the Church Fine Arts building on the campus of the University of Nevada.
