About The Event
Along with dazzling performances by Allen Vizzzutti, the program will also feature works by American composers, including the Hounds of Spring by Alfred Reed, Chant and Jubilo by W. Francis McBeth, and the Washington Post March by John Philip Sousa.
Allen Vizzutti is a versatile performer and composer best-known for his jazz prowess, although his work in the classical realm is very extensive. Born in Montana, Vizzutti was turned on to the trumpet by his father. He attended the Eastman School of Music, where he earned his bachelor and master degrees in performance.
