About The Event
Join us for Abbey Road, the Music of the Beatles, featuring a number of masterful arrangements of Beatles tunes, including:
- Something Fanfare, based on Somethingfrom Abbey Road. The arrangement was written by Conductor/Artistic Advisor Dr. Mack McGrannahan and features Associate Conductor Dr. Steve Martin on trumpet.
We’re also featuring the vocal talents of Nevada Gay Men’s Chorus members on two selections:
- Hello, Goodbye, an arrangement of three songs: Hello Goodbye, Ticket to Ride, and Penny Lane
- Can’t Buy Me Love, a medley of Here Comes the Sun, In My Life Can’t Buy Me Love
Our concert will conclude with a medley of tunes from Abbey Road, the last album recorded by the Liverpool quartet before their breakup in 1969.
Tickets are still available at the gate, which opens at 2:30 p.m.
