About The Event
The Reno Wind Symphony presents A Veteran’s Day Salute, paying special tribute to our veterans of our armed forces through wind band music. The featured guest will be University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) president Brian Sandoval, who will serve as the narrator on Lincoln at Gettysburg and Reagan of Illinois.
The concert is free for veterans and active military. General admission is $10, $5 for seniors (65 and older), and students (K-12, college) are free with their school ID card. Free parking is available in the Brian J. Whalen parking structure north of the fine arts building. Nightingale Concert Hall is located in the Church Fine Arts building on the campus of the University of Nevada.
