About The Event

Please join us for two performances of A Holiday Celebration, featuring some of your favorite holiday tunes!

You’ll hear traditional favorites You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch and the recitation of ‘twas the Night Before Christmas with Steven Meyer, Administrator with the Truckee Meadows Community College Performing Arts Dept. as our guest singer and narrator for these selections. Steven will also serve as our announcer for the program.

Other favorites include:

  • Fanfare and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, an arrangement made popular by Mannheim Steamroller
  • A Very Merry Heart and Soul
  • I’ll Be Home for Christmas
  • Russian Christmas Music
  • Rhapsody for Hanukkah

We’re having an old-fashioned Christmas Sing–Along so bring your best voice! Midnight in Bethlehem is an arrangement of two beautiful carols capturing the spirit of the season — Away in a Manger and O Little Town of Bethlehem. Christmas March combines nine tunes from secular and religious sources, into an arrangement which celebrates the joy and celebration of Christmas in an upbeat and spirited march.

General admission is $10, $5 for seniors (65 and older), and free for students (K-12, college) with their school ID card. Free parking is available in the Brian J. Whalen parking structure north of the Fine Arts building.

We look forward to kicking off the holiday season with you!
