About The Event
Please join us as we present The Holiday Celebration, which is one of the most crowd-pleasing events of our entire schedule, done virtually this year.
We’ll open with Ukrainian Bell Carol, which tells the story of a swallow flying into a household to proclaim the plentiful year the family will have.
Silent Night in Gotham City is a haunting arrangement of Franz Gruber’s classic melody, written in the harmonic style of Danny Elfman, composer of the original Batman film score.
A Christmas Festival combines nine tunes from secular and religious sources, into an arrangement which celebrates the joy, celebration, and solemnity of Christmas.
Midnight in Bethlehem is an arrangement of two beautiful carols capturing the spirit of the season — “Away in a Manger” and “O Little Town of Bethlehem.”
The sounds of a horse-drawn sleigh ride are heard in Sleigh Ride, our last work. Listen for a horse whinny and the crack of the whip, which brings our Holiday Celebration to a humorous, and toe-tapping close.
We’re grateful to Hawley MacLean, MacLean Financial Group and Airport Gardens for sponsoring this event, making it possible for everyone to enjoy it for free.
